“Procrastination is the opposite of decision.” – Napoleon Hill
Let me ask you a serious question.
In the past 12 months, how many opportunities have you missed out on because of procrastination?
Be honest.
Add up all the times you kept that email in “draft” for weeks until the deadline had passed.
Count up all the times you “forgot” to follow-up with a potential client or customer for your business.
Go through all the events you didn’t get to attend because you waited…and waited…and WAITED until the very last minute to get your ticket…and then it was sold out.
Now, I want you to think back to how you felt every time that perfect opportunity passed you by.
Perhaps you felt disappointed with yourself that once again, you let success slip through your fingers.
Maybe you felt discouraged because you know that you are meant for bigger things.
Or you might have even felt embarrassed, because you talk a good game about all the big things you are GOING TO DO and ABOUT TO DO and GETTING READY TO DO in your life, yet somehow you still don’t have much to show for all your “plans.”
Now, for a moment, just imagine that you don’t have to feel that way anymore.
Imagine…that you never have to wonder “what if…?” again.
Wouldn’t it feel amazing to be able to experience your highest potential instead of wondering what could have been?
Well, the good news is that once you STOP putting off the decisions you need to make, it will be much easier to reach your goals.
Sometimes, it can seem scary when you don’t know exactly how it’s all going to turn out. But this is when you have to call on your faith that once you take that first step, the details WILL work themselves out. (Hint: they always do!)
This is the power of making a decision.
But you have to make the decision FIRST.
It’s either YES or NO.
Because you can’t move forward when you’re stuck in MAYBE.
Decisions are good. Make them. (click here to tweet this quote!)

This may be a small task but I constantly put my inbox on the backburner and say that “I’ll clean it out later”. Because of this, I’ve missed out on some many events so one of the things I’ve started doing is cleaning it out little by little by reading at least 20 emails a day and delete them or save if need be.
Gotta give this some thought. Currently in the midst of rebuilding my life, so maybe this is it for now? Let’s see…
Yes!! Just what I needed to here at the moment! Love your work and all that you do!
I just found out I have to re apply for my job or get laid off, I have to decide if I should re apply or get laid off and use the time to make the career change I am needing to make anyway… downside i have a son in college and need the health insurance – I really want to not re apply….. can’t decide.
I need to make the decision to move forward with starting my business regardless of the circumstances. I know that it takes money to make money, but it doesn’t take money to develop my business mission statement, vision, purpose and etc. Neither does it cost anything to utilize social media to promote my business.
After listening to your webinar last Thursday, I started a blog. I joined Toastmasters International, now I am focusing on getting my business up and running. I have all the tools and resources I need to start, I just have to believe that I can do it.
So glad you were on the webinar, Monique! Congrats on taking inspired action to move forward with your business :) This is just the beginning for you!
