I was so hyped this morning walking to my office listening to Kirk Franklin’s uplifting song, “Declaration (This Is It!).” If you’ve never heard it, it’s all about letting go of your excuses so that you can make progress on your goals. It’s about stepping out on faith and taking action. It’s about believing in yourself and the dreams you have for your life.
The song made me think about the declaration I made for my business in 2014. This year, I’ve committed to “build and grow” my business so that I can help 1,000 women create their ideal lives. I know I’m here on this earth to make a difference and my products and services are what allow me to do that on a larger scale. So “build and grow” is the declaration I’m making for my life and business in 2014. That’s the stand I’m taking and there’s nothing that can stop me from fulfilling my vision to use my gifts in service to empowering women all over the world.
Make a Bold Declaration for Your Business in 2014
I wrote down all the goals I have for my business this year because that’s the first step in declaring to the universe what you want to bring into your life. I encourage you to do the same thing in your own business, whether you’re just starting out or if you’ve been at it for years.
What declaration do YOU want to make for your business in 2014?
How much income do you want to make? How many people do you want to serve? How many lives do you want to touch?
I was inspired to write this post today just so I could tell you THIS IS IT! I believe that 2014 is the year for you to make the decision to step forward more powerfully than you ever have before. This is the year for you to face your fears and push through no matter what.
Are you ready to let go of your excuses and finally start putting yourself out there to attract clients and customers? Are you ready to do the work it takes to bring in consistent income with your products and services? Are you ready to experience the freedom that comes with being your own boss?
In 2013, you might have allowed fear and doubt to hold you back. You may have felt confused about what steps you should take to market your business. You might have been overwhelmed with all the information and options out there. You may even have felt lonely trying to figure all of this stuff out by yourself. But in 2014, you can change all of that simply by getting the right kind of support.

Wow this message is awesome! To the T for me. I turned 40 on Saturday, I’m unemployed, with a 7 year old daughter. Never put myself and success in the same sentence. Yesturday I sat down and wrote all the ideas I’ve had through the years and felt too insecure to pursue. And I’ve decided NO MORE. Its time to step out of this web I’ve been bound in and at least try! I have no idea how to go about everything yet but I’m getting EXCITED! Thank you for the perfect message at the perfect time!
I decided that 2014 was going to be My year and I decided to get focused on opening up my own daycare center. I’m tired of just talking about it I’m ready to get it started. This really encouraged me in so many ways it gave me hope that I can do this and make it happen!!! Thank You
I love your fearless message! I worked with women for several years as an accountant/business consultant and I believe that fear was the #1 reason holding them back from achieving their goals. Be bold, be brave, and don’t be afraid to get out there and make a difference! Wishing you many wonderful things for 2014, for your business and for all the women you are helping. :)
Welcome and thanks for stopping by, Rachel! It’s a good year to be bold and brave :) My background is in the nonprofit sector so cool to see your work there as well.
