Are You Walking Your Talk as a Coach?

April 14, 2015 | By Rosetta |

young african woman thinking

As we prepare for what will be an EPIC Launch Your Business LIVE 3-Day Boot Camp in Atlanta, the word “possibility” has been heavy on my mind.

Because what my team and I have been hearing a lot lately is:

I wish I could come to the event, but I can’t take off from work.

I know I should be there, but I can’t travel to Atlanta.

This is exactly what I need right now, but I can’t afford it.

It got me thinking about something one of my mentors, Valorie Burton, told us at her Coaching Training Institute many years ago.

Get In the Ring: What I Learned About Success from Fight Night in Las Vegas

March 10, 2015 | By Rosetta |

Fight night selfies with the fam!

I’m still catching up on my sleep after spending the weekend in Las Vegas for fight night at the MGM Grand!

My family was in town to see my cousin Keith “One Time” Thurman beat Robert Guerrero.

We are so proud of our champ and I was inspired just by being there in person to see what it looks like to go after what you want and WIN, no matter what!

3 Lessons I Learned From Hiring An Image Consultant

February 19, 2015 | By Rosetta |

2015-02-17 17.07.00

Me and my image consultant Liana at her Beverly Hills studio

I’m in San Diego right now for another few days of learning, networking and FUN with my business mentor and my fellow mastermind members.

I’m enjoying my last week in California before I head back to Hawaii to soak up the sunshine and not have to wear a jacket anymore.

Last night, me and my girl Kristen had a wonderful dinner at Fleming’s Steakhouse in La Jolla and let me tell you…their lobster bisque is off the chain!

Anyway, today I wanted to share a part of my personal development journey for this year.

I’ve been stretching myself in line with my 2015 theme of “fun, love and adventure.”

I’ve been asking myself how I can show up more fully in my life and in my work – for myself and for my tribe of amazing women?

One of my big investments I wanted to make in myself this year was in the area of self-love – to give myself the gift of looking better and feeling better in my body.

Now that I’m in my 30s, my body is beginning to change and I know my personal style is overdue for a change as well.

Not to mention all the events and travel I have to do for my business, which is requiring me to step it up a bit in the clothing department!

So last month, I hired an image consultant.

How to Write a Love Letter to Your Future Self

February 14, 2015 | By Rosetta |

Thinking

“If you aren’t good at loving yourself, you will have a difficult time loving anyone, since you’ll resent the time and energy you give another person that you aren’t even giving to yourself.” — Barbara De Angelis

When you look around your life, you have a lot to be grateful for. But you also likely have some areas that you would like to improve.

By now, you probably know that setting goals is a great way to begin the process of creating your ideal life.

But what can you do to lift yourself up as you go through the stages of pursuing those goals?

Well, one of the most creative ways to manifest your big goals is to write them down in the form of a love letter.

No, not to your romantic partner — to yourself.

Here’s an idea.

Inspiration from David Copperfield: How to Live the Impossible

January 23, 2015 | By Rosetta |

10917066_1049951455030820_4479997024698588459_nI’ve been a traveling a lot lately for both business and pleasure.

I’m back in the states on the west coast and definitely missing the warmth of Mexico right now!

Las Vegas was my first stop with my good friend Shana. I call her “Shana Love” because she recently became a certified love coach.

We had the opportunity to reconnect for a few days, and of course, turn up in the casinos and clubs on the Strip!

3 Truths to Remember When You Feel Like Giving Up

January 20, 2015 | By Rosetta |

2014-12-25 07.23.45

I remember feeling so stuck and depressed back in 2011 when I lost a huge chunk of income in my business.

There was this terrible knot in my stomach whenever I worried about where my next check was going to come from.

I hated that feeling of uncertainty.

For a while, I thought about giving up on my business and going back to working a 9 to 5 job.

VIDEO: 3 Life Lessons I Learned While Skydiving in Mexico

January 7, 2015 | By Rosetta |

“I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than regret the things I haven’t done.” – Lucille Ball

hqdefaultMy grandmother always taught me that the way you end the old year is how you will begin the new one.

Since I had decided that 2015 was going to be the year of “fun, love and adventure,” I wanted to do something to honor that theme for my 32nd birthday on December 31, 2014 – the very last day of the year.

And that’s how I ended up jumping out of a plane in Playa del Carmen, Mexico!

I gave myself the gift of SKYDIVING, which was pretty much one of the scariest and most rewarding things I’ve ever done.

Check out the video of my jump below! I booked my tandem jump with Skydive Playa and they took good care of me throughout the process.
